Currently, the Canada/USA IBM AS/400 software consulting market
is experiencing a bit of a lull. This could be attributed to a number of
things:
a. general weakening of the North American economy
b. fall-out of the '.COM' bust (too many people available for too few jobs)
c. still reeling from the Y2K issue (having blown the budget for the next 10
years!)
Based on this, we have no contracts/positions to offer at the moment.
We are hoping the market will pick up dramatically in the next few months but
indications do not point that way. Until further notice,
please do not submit your resume to us - we cannot place you at this time.

We are searching for top notch IBM AS/400 personnel.
If you develop in ILE RPG/IV, RPG III, or COOL:2E (formerly
SYNON/2E) on the IBM AS/400, WE SHOULD TALK!
You have experience in project planning/control and you possess
a degree or a diploma in a Data Processing field, with at least 5 years of
industry experience.
Development experience with J.D. Edwards would be advantageous (WorldSoftware
or OneWorld).
An I.S.P. (Information Systems Professional) designation from
CIPS (The Canadian Information Processing Society) would be beneficial.
